Community Transport and the Access Car will be available to hire throughout the period.
Volunteer Car Service:
This service is for people of any age who find it difficult to travel on public transport due to mobility issues. This bespoke, friendly door to door service is for people resident throughout the Borough of Swindon and can be used for local or longer distance trips.
When you reach your destination our volunteer drivers will offer assistance if required, they will come into the Doctors surgery with you or go round the supermarket with you.
The service can be used for a variety of purposes including health appointments, day centre visits, lunch clubs, shopping/theatre trips, visiting friends & family, and hairdressers.

Swindon Dial A Ride uses CATSS (Computer Aided Transport Scheduling System) to manage and schedule passenger bookings for the Dial A Ride service and Community Transport vehicle hire. The software also maintains driver and vehicle records.
CATSS was developed by Thames Valley Operators, a community interest company jointly owned by Swindon Dial A Ride, Slough Community Transport and Keep Mobile, Wokingham.
